“It may be that, some ages hence... the restoration of grey hairs to juvenility and the renewing of the exhausted marrow may at length be elicited without a miracle”

GMP Derivation
Axordia has access to a state of the art GMP derivation facility in which it is developing HESC lines under GMP for use in clinical applications. Opened by Sir Colin Blakemore head of the MRC the facility allows fully validated control of the process of derivation of an HESC line in compliance with guidelines laid down by the UK regulatory authorities. Under the direction of Professor Harry Moore the facility is one of only a few in existence worldwide. The GMP derivation unit ensures that all of the physical operations utilised for the derivation of a HESC line are undertaken in a controlled environment and all processes are documented as fully validated standard operating procedures (SOP). This ensures that the process is robust and fully reproducible.
Provenance and Informed Consent
Axordia’s lines have been derived with specific informed consent from the donor’s and have known provenance, meaning the process of derivation is fully traceable on an anonymised basis.
License Opportunities
Axordia will under licence make these GMP derived cell lines available to other stem cell companies and researchers.
