Axordia is developing two novel stem cell therapies and commercialising GMP-derived human embryonic stem cell lines.
- Dry AMD A stem cell therapy to treat this currently untreatable disease is being developed in conjunction with UCL and Moorfields eye hospital.
- Next generation stents are being developed to reduce the incidence of stem restonsis after stent implantation. The endovascular cells used to line the stent will have future use in transplant rejection
- GMP-compliant HESC lines are being derived under GMP protocols.
